Homecoming Parade

The Vina High School Homecoming Parade was held on Thursday, September 8th.  Many students rode on floats decorated by their classes and homecoming representatives were looking sharp in their decorated cars and trucks.  The little ones were excited to see and listen to the big fire trucks!  Onlookers were all smiles as the parade passed and students threw candy. When the parade was over, students, parents and the community met in the Multipurpose Building for a pep rally.  Jace Jackson, representing the football team, gave an inspiring speech and faculty members and cheerleaders entertained everyone with a fun dance.  A big thank you to the faculty and staff who organized the homecoming barbecue fundraiser.
