SUBSTITUTE PROCESS

Applicants will need to turn in all forms to the Franklin County Board of Education before moving to step 2, you must be 21 to apply.

STEP 1

- Franklin County Schools Support Application

- Three Required Trainings

- Copy of Alabama Driver’s License (Birth Certificate if Driver's License is out of state)

- Copy of Social Security Card

- Completed Tax Forms (I9, W4, A4)

- High School or College Transcripts Sent Directly From the School (email to brianadean@franklin.k12.al.us)

- Voided Check and Signed Bank Authorization Form

STEP 2

- CREATE AN AIM ACCOUNT https://aim.alsde.edu/index.aspx?Logout=true complete all questions

- Click on the Fieldprint Background Check and register to have fingerprints done.

Once you have submitted the required documents to the Franklin County Board of Education and your background check has cleared, you will receive an email from the Alabama State Department of Education with instructions to complete your application online, please also check your spam folder.

After completing these steps, you will be able to log in to your AIM account to check the status of your application. Please be sure to save your login credentials for future reference.
