My name is Coach Jacob Hamilton, and I am the Physical Education Teacher/Head Football Coach at Tharptown High School! I am originally from Phil Campbell, AL, and I am a 2015 Graduate of Russellville High School! As a player at RHS I was a team captain, defensive MVP, and went on to play in the North vs South All Star game. After high school, I attended Huntingdon College, UNA, and graduated from Athens State University in 2021. Prior to THS, I made coaching stops at Deshler HS, Phil Campbell HS, and Carbon Hill HS. I am recently married to my wife Savannah! We live in Mount Hope with a lot of cats and dogs! In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, lifting weights, and spending time with my family! I am very excited about my first year at THS, and I look forward to getting to know all of my students and athletes! Go Wildcats!
