Franklin County Schools will have a modified grading schedule because of the Covid-19 outbreak. Student averages will be calculated without a 4th nine weeks grading period or a final exam. Report cards will show a 3rd nine weeks average and a Yearly Average.
For students that took a mid-term exam, the average will consist of 1st nine weeks -30%, 2nd nine weeks - 30%, 3rd nine weeks– 30% and the mid-term – 10%. For students that didn’t take a mid-term, the average will consist of 1st nine weeks- 33%, 2nd nine weeks 33% and 3rd nine weeks 34%.
Students in grades 9-12 must have a minimum passing grade of 60 both semesters to receive a full credit for a class. The 3rd nine weeks will represent the 2nd semester grade.
