• Registration Dates/Times:

If you would like to register for Remote Learning at your school you will need to sign the contract on the Franklin County website. If you need a paper copy please come to school on August 4th between 9-12 and register if you need the paper copy instead of doing it digitally. The deadline for registering will be on Friday, August 7th. On Monday, August 17th if your child is registered for the Remote Learning you will need to come to school and pick-up your child's packet and information. Please come to school between 8am and 4pm. This is for Red Bay Elementary and High School. High School Registration will be on Monday, August 3rd. Seniors; 8-9 Juniors: 9-10 Sophomores: 10-11 9th grade: 11-12 8th grade: 1-2 7th Grade: 2-3 New student registration will be on Tuesday, August 4th. This is for students 7-12th Also, if you have a student in k-6 that needs registering for school please come during that time too. What I learned today: Only one parent per student will be allowed in the building on August 3rd and 4th. You must be present to purchase a parking decal. And you must have a driver’s license. If you choose to do remote learning, you must come to the school on August 4th from 9-12 to register for this. This will be the only way to register for the remote learning. There is a compact you must sign for the remote learning. You can find this in the Reopening Plan I posted a few days ago. If you can’t print this before the 4th, you can sign it/fill it out at school. They will have copies available. But remember only one parent may come in the building with the student.

  • Immunization Update:

"Parents, the Alabama Department of Public Health requires all students entering 6th grade to have an additional dose of the TDAP vaccine (tetanus-diphtheria/pertussis vaccine). Please call your child's health care provider, or the Franklin County Health Department to schedule an appointment for your child to receive this required vaccine as soon as possible. Your child will need to bring an updated immunization certificate to school in August indicating they have received the vaccine."

Update as of 4/3/20 at 7:30 pm - Due to the shelter in place order given by our Governor, tomorrow (Saturday the 4th) will be the last pick up/drop off of meals until further notice. These will be dropped off and can be picked up between 10AM-12PM. Over the next few weeks, our faculty and staff will be posting new students learning opportunities for the Red Bay Elementary students. Please check RBES website and our Facebook page for updates. Our teachers will begin contacting students through various online methods or phone calls to offer help and encouragement during this trying time. Many teachers have already begun to contact students. We are here for you and we want you to know we support you in anyway we can. Our goal is to enhance your child's learning and prepare them to come back to school in August better than ever. The goal is to reinforce the standards and the knowledge your children have already learned. Thank you so much for being patient with us as we work through this unprecedented time in our country. Please know the faculty, staff, and administration are still here for you. Please feel free to email us with any questions or concerns. Please stay safe and we want our students to know that they are greatly missed! Mrs Burks, Red Bay Elementary Principal
