21st Century Community Learning Centers-T.R.A.C.K.S. Afterschool and Summer Programs
The Right Approach Creates Knowledge and Success
Franklin County afterschool and summer programs are 21st Century Community Learning Centers. Our afterschool and summer programs provide childcare in a safe supervised environment.
Our afterschool programs provide homework help each day with arts, crafts and recreational activities as incentives for finishing homework. Afterschool begins at 3:00 p.m. daily when school is in session and closes at 6:00 p.m. at most sites, although some sites may differ. If school is dismissed early, the afterschool program will be closed that day. A snack is provided daily by the Child Nutrition Program at the beginning of the afterschool program. Afterschool Programs are currently held at: Belgreen School, Phil Campbell Elementary, East Franklin Junior School, Tharptown School, Vina School, and Red Bay School. A Registration Fee is required and due at time of registration along with a completed Registration Form and the first week's tuition fee. Weekly Tuition Rates are based on Child Nutrition Lunch Rates.
The Summer Camps provide academic enrichment through games, activities, and literature with weekly themes. Arts, crafts, recreational activities and field trips are provided to make summer fun for all. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are provided by the Child Nutrition Program. The Summer Camps begin at 6:30 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m. Summer Camps are currently held at: Phil Campbell Elementary, Red Bay School, Tharptown, Vina, and East Franklin.
