The Seamless Summer Program is offered at five of

the Franklin County Schools.  Breakfast and Lunch

are offered at NO COST to everyone 18 years old and

younger.

 

Breakfast and lunch are available Monday through Friday at Belgreen,

East Franklin, Phil Campbell, Red Bay, and Tharptown school cafeterias.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 am until 10:00 am, Monday through Friday.

Lunch is served from 10:15 am until 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday.

Meals must be eaten in the cafeteria.  Take out trays are not allowed.

Balancing Calories

 *  Enjoy your food, but eat less.

 *  Avoid oversized portions.

 Foods to Increase

 *  Make half your plate fruits and vegetables.

 *  Make at least half your grains whole grains.

 *  Switch to fat-free or low-fat (1%) milk.

 Foods to Reduce

 *  Compare sodium in foods like soup, bread, and frozen meals

  - and choose the foods with lower numbers.

 *  Drink water instead of sugary drinks.
